M. Jayson Meyer, President & CEO

Mr. Meyer has 11 years of business development, information technology, and entrepreneurial experience.  He founded WorkSmart MD, Inc. in 2001 with the objective of putting more money into the hands doctors.  Mr. Meyer has an extensive information technology background which includes software development and systems engineering. Through his tenure with our company he has directed the development of the HIPAA Rx software product for health care providers and served as a subject matter expert for the development of a practice management software system. In 2002 he launched the WorkSmart MD Billing division. Prior to founding the company he was profiled on CBS 48 hours in June 2000 and, in November 2000, he was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show. Currently Mr. Meyer is responsible for the long term vision and growth of WorkSmart MD Billing.

Our staff includes extraordinarily high caliber medical billing specialists. Our medical billing specialists are thoroughly screened, well trained, and provided with the right tools. To ensure claims go out right the first time we employ Certified Professional Coders (CPC) to ensure the accuracy of claim data. If a claim is denied, our billing specialists follow-up immediately rather than allowing unpaid claims to accumulate.

Training

After a Medical Billing Specialist is hired they go through a series of initial trainings to understand our medical billing process and technology. In addition, they are given on-going training in medical billing issues and techniques.
